How to Change the Apple ID on Apple Watch
If you have recently changed your Apple ID or want to switch to a different account on your Apple Watch, it’s a straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to change the Apple ID on your Apple Watch.
Step 1: Open the Apple Watch App on Your iPhone
First, ensure that your iPhone is paired with your Apple Watch and that the Apple Watch app is installed on your iPhone. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Tap on Your Watch’s Name
In the Apple Watch app, tap on the name of your Apple Watch at the top of the screen. This will display the settings for your Apple Watch.
Step 3: Select “My Watch”
On the next screen, you will see a list of options. Tap on “My Watch” to access the settings for your Apple Watch.
Step 4: Go to “Apple ID, App Store, iTunes & iCloud”
Scroll down and tap on “Apple ID, App Store, iTunes & iCloud.” This section contains all the information related to your Apple ID and purchases.
Step 5: Tap on “Sign Out”
Under the “Apple ID, App Store, iTunes & iCloud” section, you will find an option labeled “Sign Out.” Tap on it to sign out of your current Apple ID.
Step 6: Sign in with Your New Apple ID
After signing out, you will be prompted to sign in with a new Apple ID. Enter your new Apple ID and password, then tap “Next.”
Step 7: Confirm the Change

Step 8: Restart Your Apple Watch
To ensure that the change takes effect, restart your Apple Watch by holding down the side button until the “slide to power off” option appears. Then, slide to power off your watch and turn it back on.
