How to Change Battery in a G-Shock Watch

Step 1: Removing the Back Cover
1. Place your G-Shock watch face down on a flat, stable surface.
2. Locate the small notch or screw on the back cover of the watch. Depending on the model, this may be a small hole or a visible screw.
3. Use the flathead screwdriver to gently remove the back cover. If there’s a screw, unscrew it and then remove the cover. Be cautious not to apply too much force, as this could damage the watch.
Step 2: Removing the Old Battery
