Step 1: Open Instagram
The first step to starting a group chat on Instagram is to open the app on your smartphone. Make sure you’re using the latest version of Instagram to ensure you have access to all the features.

You can also add a profile picture for the group by tapping on the camera icon next to the group name.
Step 6: Start Chatting
Once you’ve set up your group chat, you can start sending messages to your participants. Simply type your message and tap the send button. Your group members will receive the message and can reply in real-time.
