Step 5: Delete All Searches
If you want to delete all your search history, click on the “Clear browsing data” button on the left side of the history page. This will open a new window where you can select the types of data you want to delete. Make sure to check the “Search history” box and then click “Clear data.”
Step 6: Confirm Deletion
After selecting the data you want to delete, you will be prompted to confirm your choice. Click “Clear browsing data” again to finalize the deletion process.
Step 7: Prevent Future Search History from Being Saved
To prevent your search history from being saved in the future, you can adjust your Chrome settings. Go to the three dots menu, select “Settings,” and then scroll down to “Privacy and security.” Under the “Clear browsing data” section, you can choose to “Clear on exit” or “Never save history.”
