How to Repair a Flat Tire
Dealing with a flat tire can be a daunting experience, especially if you’re not familiar with the process. However, knowing how to repair a flat tire can save you time and money, and it’s a valuable skill to have. 2. Loosen the Lug Nuts: Before you jack up the car, you’ll need to loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire. Use the lug wrench to turn the nuts counterclockwise until they are loose but not removed.
3. Jack Up the Car: Place the jack under the car at the designated jack point, which is usually located near the wheel. Engage the jack and lift the car until the flat tire is about six inches off the ground. Be sure to set the jack securely and check it periodically to ensure it remains stable.

7. Secure the Flat Tire: Place the flat tire in the trunk or secure it with a tie-down strap. If you have a tire repair kit, you can also patch the tire to temporarily fix the puncture.
